While I know we are in the business of projecting costs for future needs for patients who have been ill or injured, it still amazes me at how much care costs for their basic and fundamental needs. Lately I have been struck by how good it feels mentally and physically to take a break from the routine grind of life. And if it is good for me, an able bodied person, then what is out there for the recipients of our Life Care Plans? Yes, I address recreational, therapeutic and psychological care needs in my plans, but what if that isn’t enough?
